The protective sleeves produced by SIKA are designed to protect the submersible part of the thermometers from the aggressive fluids of a technological process and to ensure, that temperature measurement can be achieved even under severe conditions. These conditions may be due to high temperature, high pressure, aggressive environments or high flow rates, as well as the presence of particles or contaminants.
The main advantage of using protective sleeves is , that the thermometer can be mounted and dismounted without having to interrupt the process and remove the fluid. The thermometer can simply be replaced during operation.
